Car reamers are specially designed for reaming structural steel plates, commonly found in railroad cars, truck frames, bridge building/repair, and pressure vessel manufacturing. These reamers are used on previously formed holes in steel plates which are under size and rough, and where it is necessary to ream holes in assemblies to obtain proper alignment and size to precisely fit rivets, bolts, etc.
